Sci Fi Time Travel Film Needs Your Help

Hey guys - check out this teaser I shot on my AF102 last night

We are in a competition to get $100,000 to get this made. Can you help us out by going to this link and hitting the Facebook 'like' button. Ignore the synopsis - its gone from originally being a comedy to now being a sci fi film similar to Primer or Momento.

We would appreciate your help greatly!

Trailer mostly shot on a Lumix 7-14mm f4.0

What kind of crane did you use for those top down shots and sweeping hallway shots. Very nice camera work and I need a new jib/crane.

Hey, I gripped this piece. My jib is a long valley seven jib. The shots in the hallway are a matthews doorway dolly with pneumatic wheels. The one pushing into the doorway is the same dolly on track wheels. (floor was too rough for pneumatics.)

Seven jib is a short arm jib, so its designed to be operated by hand from the front. I personally find super long jibs without remote heads pointless, and the cost/complication of remote heads as too much for low budget or uber-quick setups. An assistant and I spent a day popping locations up and down all day and on the last setup we timed ourselves as taking 57 seconds from unlatching the jib's travel case to having the camera rolling. (not completely fair as we knew exactly how to counterweight it, but still.) I'm attaching a photo of a RED rig on it, well within the 70lb max camera rating.

Thanks guys! We're actually starting to shoot a few scenes from the film anyway. Just going to do 1 scene at a time during the night and hopefully pick up some finance to finish the rest in 1 chunk.
