Hey all Here is a Music Video I directed for Metal Band As I lay Dying

Track "Nothing Left"

The video is set in a bleak retrofitted future world of uniformity and social decay. Society is controlled by a powerful dictator who will stop at nothing to eradicate anybody with the mark of "Infection" to realize his vision and form a pure society.

This unique video follows the story of one woman who has been hiding her marked body from the eyes of society. Realization she cannot hide the mark of decay any longer drives her to expose herself, no matter the consequences and accept her fate.

This is our female lead who initiates the uprising

This is our male lead the dystopian leader

This is the scene where the sentinels take our female lead away

This video was shot about 50% greenscreen and we had a few sets built for the other half.

My Cinematographer Jason Hafer, Editor Dave Gallegos, and VFX team at Bentlight did an amazing job!! Kudos to them.

Hey one thing jumped at me...The intro flying into the clouds looks pretty similar to the work of Pierre Michel.

Really good look. One problem I had was with the pacing of the story. She turned herself in pretty early in the video which was not really the problem. The problem was that we had the stadium shot with nothing really going on for a really long time. It kind of became stale. It could have used some additional footage of her in a detention cell or something extra.

Good video overall, shame about the song though.

Amazing job on the visuals. The song is a different matter. I know better than to listen to it for a second time. If I did I would probaly pull my teeth out with a pliers and blame the band.

didn't like the music, not my thing but I'm impressed with the video, great effects, which software did you use to obtain those effects.
