Is it okay to store the SDHC card in the camera when you are not shooting? Or is it always best to take it out when you are finished shooting? Thanks.

Theoretically, you should take it out when you're done. In reality, it probably doesn't hurt it, if it's only a short time.

Don;t see why you would need to remove it. It's sold state, not tape.

Unless the camera turns on all by itself and erases the whole card, you should be safe.

My Windows machine got into habit to turn on by itself, WTF? I cannot find what service does it, maybe it is some wake-up on incoming network message thing. I just pull it out of the AC socket after I turn the computer off. You may want to remove the battery from the camera instead of removing the card
