Scenfile setting for high contrast scene.

Im shooting a short on the Hvx in a week, im quite new to the camera ans was wondering if anyone has some suggestions for the type of scene im going to shoot.

Scene:

It´s going to be a dialoge scene around a brightly lit table in a pitch dark room.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Im shooting with the sgpro, and want to get a nice silky black with minimal grain... but if possible not get any softer image then the sgpro will offer.

What to do?

Please help me :)
