Hi there,
today I finally found the time to watch the DVX-DVD that comes with Barry's DVX book. There is this chapter where the DVX is compared against some JVC HD cam.
I was shocked when I saw this, because I found the colors of the JVC much better and much more filmlike. The footage coming from the DVX looked a lot video-ish and ugly to me.
Is this just me? Or my tv? Maybe because I'm in PAL land?
I thought "oh no, I ordered the wrong camera!"
Especially the comparison between the hand on the revolver was (to my eyes) extremly ugly from the DVX.
And the two guys with the fence: JVC quite film-like, DVX a lot more video-ish.
Should I go and see an eye-doctor? :embarasse
I just ordered my DVX100B today. :undecided After seeing this I was not sure whether I should cancel the order. :embarasse
Could someone that has the DVD take a look and post some comments on this?
regards,
Oli
