Scene with bright background produces grainy footage

I used HMC150 to tape the piano playing in a park. The background has some very bright spots, though I adjusted the exposure close to 95% on WFM. When I played it on my 46" TV, it looked grainy, how should I adjust the scene file in order to capture the video properly? By adjusting DRS? Master PED????? (1080p video, everything in scene file is adjusted to neutral or defaulting setting by Panasonic)

Anyone can help me on this? Thanks a lot and may god bless everyone here, I know it is NOt easy now. :zombie_smiley:

Shoufeng.. DRS adds noise so don't use that. You also are getting pretty close to the top end of the IRS.. What were you exposing for? Highlights or shadows? You also might want to make sure you have a good white balance.. do a manual white balance.. and go through your settings and scene files. Hit me up and we can check out your camera with my HD monitor.

Your own HD monitor might also be adding noise so that's something to consider.. but you will see some in the image... it's just realizing if you have excessive noise or if it's normal.
