Scene settings

I just received my camera and I was wondering about the default scene settings. The first setting appears to be standard 60fps. The
fifth setting is 24p and sixth is 24pa. If I don't want to use the scene settings where do I go to manually set 24p, 30p, 60p, etc?

PS. I'm sure that Barry has answered this in his book. I have one on order and I'm waiting for delivery. However, I have the camera and I'm busy fiddling with the settings. I'm not a real fan of the manuals they provide for electronics whether cameras or vtr's. They provide information but I find them confusing at times.

Hit the menu button. Go into 1. Scene File. Scroll down to the 3rd page of stuff and you'll have the choice there.

dstone, there is no 60P with the dvx. Only, 24P, 24P adv, 30P, 60i and i think it's possible to get 15P and 12P from the dvx.

You should definetively buy the Barry's Book! It's a must to have for any dvx user
