Scene Setting for Wedding Video

My DVX100b is my first 24fps camera. My first wedding gig using the camera is coming up soon and I find myself unsure of what scene setting to use. My first thought was to jump in and use 24p, but haven't found many others shooting weddings in 24p (or maybe I'm not looking in the right place).

What scene settings have other videographers used when shooting weddings? If not 24p, what about 30p? What customized settings have others used while shooting weddings that have produced stunning images?

I've been playing around with the scene settings (while watching the DVX DVD), but actual settings used in real situations would be a blessing.

I will be editing in Sony Vegas 6 and adding overlays/lower thirds, etc... from Digital Juice.

Any assistance is most greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Marty

I shoot weddings with my DVX100A and I usually shoot in 30p. But, with that said, I have to add a caveat in that most of the "wedding videos" I shoot are more like photo shoots than a full length ceremony. For an idea of what I shoot try here (right click & download). That clip was one of my early ones and I did shoot in 24pA. I decided to switch to 30p because the progressive quality is still there but you have more frames to do slow motion with. I usually leave the scene file rather flat and liven things up in post. I didn't color correct this clip though. Best of luck with things. Let us know how it goes. :D
