GH2 Scene from an untitled short film!

Here is a rough draft edit, of a scene from a short film, where I am the DP

Obviously with an un-hacked GH2 plus Canon FD 50mm 1.4, this scene was lit by the car light and a flood light outside of the car. We are fairly happy with the result though. Audio is up the spout, not much we can do other than shoot it again (which we may)

Yeah, would of been, Cinema with the setting's sharpness +1, contrast 0, noise 0, saturation 0. ISO Around 400-640, WB set to light (the little light symbal), and that's it...

It's looking really nice! That FD 1.4 is really sharp! I would just get rid of the shot with the car instrument panel. The shutter is making the screen of it flick. Was your shutter at 1/60?

Thanks mate, yeah, we had a couple of establishing shots of the car rolling up the drive-way, and none of them we were happy with after we had finished the shoot, but we had to use one.
I can't remember exactly what the shutter speed was at, but it would of been around 50/60.

That does look nice... very cinematic for sure. Kind of hard to get a sense of the car and their proximity but that's not such a bad thing. This certainly looks like an expensive image. I do like those FD lenses... and good luck getting a shot like this out of a standard 1/3inch sensor...

Great image and the lighting looks pretty good too! The cutting was a little confusing (seems there were a few too many cuts in the scene), but everything looked good!

I felt the same thing, images look great but some of the cuts were out of place. I understand the want to use all the angles you shot, but it's not always necessary. looking foreward to seeing the finished film.
