This site list quite a few looks from panasonic, designed for use with the SDX900 and the SD memory card functions of that camera. My question: Is there any way of finding the levels of these scene files so that I can manually program them into the DVX? Or am I stuck doing the trial and error thing until I get something close? And if that's the case, have any of you already been through this and found some levels that are pretty close?
 
Wow... I guess isn't a popular question. In that case, what do all of you do with the scene files? Just use the defaults? Or ignore them all together?

I personally think it'd be better to learn what each of the settings actually do. Then you'd be able to make the changes you need to and create your own, rather than copying what someone else tells you is a good look. Of course it'll take time, don't look at the trial and error thing as a burden, its a process that will help you more in the long run.

Exactly. The more you know what everything does, the better prepared you'll be when you need to make adjustments in the field.
