Scene files for HPX-500 and HPX-3000

I hate to admit it but preset scene files are seeming to be very hard to come by for the HPX-500 and 3000. Do any of you know of a website that might have some scenes that I would be able to download to my SD card? Thanks!

We need a champion who has the right color calibration charts and the sort to give us some good scene files! Who will do it? :huh:

It would be awesome to have something similar to the scene file recipes thread for the JVC HD100/200 cameras. I like what they did with that... anyone!?
 
Does anyone have a specific look in mind? If you had a HVX200 scene file (like one of Barry's) then I could match it to the HPX500 using our charts. Let me know.
 
I've developed some looks I'm happy with in good lighting situations. What I'm looking for now is to optimize low light performance. Specifically looking for noise reduction. So far, I've found the 1080 modes to have much lower noise than 720 modes. Not sure why?
The application is concert imag, so dynamic range is all over the place as is color temp.
Any thoughts?

HPX 502 EN soft pictures

Has any one noticed how soft the pictures seem in flat foreground shotd with detailed back grounds. It is so bad that it looks lke th subject is out of focus.
I have tried adjustin H&V detail and detail coring. Any sugestions appreciated. Tis camera's pictures should look better

The JVC HD100/200 settings were amazing, so much better than whats out there for the HPX500... I wish we had someone doing this for the panasonic side of things.

They had some really filmic looks for the JVC made up. Very original and very nice colors as well.
 
Building scene files is like cooking, you just tweak the recipe until you get it right (for yourself). Find a place that has all the elements that you need to worry over, colors, leaves on trees blowing, static detail, sky with clouds, daylight, artificial light, etc. Start with a stock scene file from any P2 cam like an HPX or HVX cam; shoot, tweak, and repeat; you only need say 30 seconds for each clip. Instead of downloading and transcoding, just view the clips on a good monitor which saves a lot of time. You can build several good scene files in a few hours. One of the bigger decisions you need to make is whether you want to shoot flat with the intent of finishing the look in post, or get it close in the field and do nominal or no editing to the look.
