Scene files AF-101 and AC-160

I have just become an owner of a AF-101, additional to my AC-160. I am wondering: can one exchange scene files between the two cameras, in order to make their colors look very much alike if shooting with both cameras in the same project? Or, if this is technically not possible, would setting both cameras to the same technical values create similar color looks? Does anyone have ever tried this?

You can't directly exchange scene files between them, but you could probably text-edit one scene file to make it compatible with the other. However, the looks won't be directly identical, even with the exact same settings. The cameras have different chips, different sizes, different lenses, and they just render images slightly differently. Setting the settings the same would get them in the same ballpark as each other but won't match exactly.

I have some scene files for both cameras coming shortly (in the next few weeks probably) that will match fairly exactly. I've been spending some time with all the new cameras (HPX370, 250, AC160, AC130, AF100) developing compatible scene files between them all. Sometimes it just can't be done (the DRS on the HPX250/370 is very very different from the DRS on the AC130/160 and AF100) but sometimes I can get them pretty much identical.

Something for an HMC150?

Do you have something like that for the HMC150? I have an AF100 and a HMC150 and would like to find some matching scene files. I know that these cams are very different, but what is the best way to have a match between the pictures of these two cams?

Don't have any matches with the HMC150.

The best way to match 'em is to get ahold of a monitor with two inputs, point both cameras at the same scene, white balance them to the same white card, set the settings the same between them, and then toggle back and forth on the montor and adjust one to match the other until you get the best match you can. The job's much easier if you have some proper charts like a grayscale and a proper color chart.
