Scene File Settings

Can anyone explain something to me or direct me to something that will..

I have worked with my camera now for many months.. using all manual controls.. but I have yet to play around with the scene file settings..

can someone explain what these do:
Detial Level
V Detail Level
Detial Coring
Chroma Level
Chroma Phase
Color temp
Master PED

well not what they do, but how they affect image quality.. I have played around with the settings but they don't seem to affect it very much... well nothing that Immediately notice on the LCD...

do these settings make huge differences? and if so, where is there a good resource for detailed explanations of all this?

The resource you're looking for is going to be available for pre-order probably today. I'm publishing a book/DVD package that goes through every setting you talked about, in thorough detail, including before/after examples and illustrations that will show you exactly what those do.
