HPX250: Scene File Problem

I am having problems loading the Scene Files from the panasonic website:
http://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/scene-files-new.asp?model=HPX250
first of all the files are not for my EU model so I changed the header of all to
Ver 1.00-00
AG-HPX250EJ
SYSTEM FREQ:50Hz

then the files were read and write protected.

But whatever I do in text edit on my mac I can not get them to be read from my HPX.
The only file it reads is my internal SceneFile set which I loaded onto the card.
I tried everything that comes to mind......does anybody have a tip?

thanx

I'm not a Mac guy nor do I know what program you're using to edit the files, but I suspect that the files aren't being saved as plain text files. If your software adds any headers or metadata to the files the HPX won't read them.

The other thing I would do is prepare the SD card in the camera. Format it using the HPX and then save at least one scene file to the card using the camera, this will create the proper directory structure and acts as a guide of where to put the additional files.

I got your same problem here in EU zone. I tryed a lot of changes in the parameters of the scene files, but the HPX250 did'n read the files. Then I opened the files with TextEdit and I did copy the first four rows from a custom scene file of mine, and then I pasted them in the pana scene files (updating the file Titles = STYLES, FILMIC, EFFECTS). Saved from TextEdit. All worked well.
Hope this will work for yoy too. If you'll have any problem, I can send you the files.
