Scene File Dial

If Panasonic continues to make this style camera I guess HVX now, they should make the scene dial an internal option. I can't tell you how many times Im shooting handheld on say F2 and then the camera happens to rub up against my body while getting a shot and the next thing I know I am shooting in F1 or F3 or something! I have come to the conclusion that I need to put gaffers tape over the dial so it doesn't move to a different setting while shooting!

The design of the scene file was tweaked on the HVX to alleviate that problem.
I think most people do exactly what you suggested on the DVX - use gaff tape to keep the wheel from moving.

In the three years I've been shooting with this camera, that's never happened to me. Of course, now that I say that, it'll happen tomorrow.:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
