Hi All,
I've owned the 270 for a few months and have been satisfied with the out-of-the-box image quality settings for most of my corporate and event shoots... but now I'm heading off into project territory where I need to get more out of the image quality. As I have started looking into the startling array of image quality options, I keep crying myself to sleep while curled in the fetal position and cuddling my blanky.
Searching for quick answers to the myriad of options for the 270 has been daunting and I am hoping to shortcut the learning curve a bit by asking you to share your findings.
I need to get the most dynamic range (I know I will need to grade in post), the best sharpness, least aliasing, etc. I usually don't shoot outdoors (maybe about 20% of the time), most often I am either in a studio-lighting situation or natural indoor light, like offices or factories.
Any help with scene file settings and other customizations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much,
Matt
