I wish people would get in the habit of posting what methods/settings/techniques they use to accomplish their final products with when they make their original post - you know everyone's going to ask about it anyway!!
I know many people never read the whole thread and I do the same sometimes. [/quote]
Sorry for missing that! Unless there's a link to the original post, sometimes it's pretty difficult find it amongst all of the other topics (and in this case, I wasn't aware that there was one).
Your footage looks really great, I can't wait to see even more!
Thanks for all the support guys. This is for a presentation DVD i have to do and its friday night 11:30 and im still at work trying to get as much as it done as i can. My second scene isnt flowing like the first one. Im drained out and I think I went over my head with this one. I want to do a 3D interface but i have it with an over the shoulder shot. http://www.puffinfilms.com/DVDintro/HANDscreenie.jpg http://www.puffinfilms.com/DVDintro/HANDscreenie2.jpg
If i am to do this im going to have to mask out the hand each time it crosses over the interface ...ARG. I dont think i can have that done along with all the other things I have to do by next week. I may have to cut my losses and my beard, i havent shaved in a few days and my neck is itching like mad. Heres the beginning but im not feelin' it. http://www.puffinfilms.com/DVDintro/scene2 start.mov
I shot it on a sort of white background knowing i wanted to blow it out and thought i would be able to adjust the contrast and key it out. When i get back to the office today I will try to key it out.
I started last week, shot it on saturday and started the computer work monday.
list of what I used:
DVX--(of course), Premiere, After effects, Lightwave, REASON w/radion64 keyboard(for sound effects), blood, sweat and tears.
