I bought a pair of these and my original intentions were to build a slider. They arrived and the rails are perfect. We unwrapped one and unwrapped a pair of the bear blocks to try them out. It was the opinion of my buddy, the brains behind the project, that the quality of the balls in the bearing blocks was "questionable". As the blocks slide down the rail, they are quite audible. I began to look for different bearings for the blocks, lost interest and these have been sitting now for a year or so.
