no. it was actually made by two young film grads from somewhere...and it went to sundance and obviously people liked it.
Anyways...I just went and saw it...haha get it...SAW it.
Anyways...again...I agree with Anarchy...I think I went through the same emotions. The ending is so ****ing awesome..prolly one of the best I've ever seen.

That would be The Grudge and it looks like they use same kid it both films.
The ending was great, but the acting was quite terrible. A lot of the dialogue here and there was pretty awful as well (or maybe it was just the acting). Good thing it had a terrific ending.

oh GREAT, now i know the ending's gonna be awesome. thanks alot- geez.
"Saw" was darn good for an indie. They definetly stayed away from many of the hollywood standards. The raw feel of the film really works to the advantage of horror.
I thought it was an awesome movie. the guy that wrote it is one of the main characters, the photographer. The look was amazing.
***********might spoil.
I LOVED the timelapse they did. it was amazing. it gave you a sense of total panic; like i found myself breathin heavy. very suspensful, more so then scary in my opinion. i'd have to agree about the acting only towards the end; the one main character looks a bit like will farrell and i kept thinking part of it was a comedy. but really, i loved the film, great; very well done.
