"SAW" settings

Hey guys. ANy idea on how to achieve the 'Saw' desaturated, bleach bypass look in camera? Has anyone set their camera to these settings? If so, please post, thanks!

You can do that.... I know it's in Barry's book. But, I suggest doing that effect in post. Magic Bullet has a great preset for that, or if you want a cheaper solution go with http://www.videocopilot.net/products.html Very affordable. Hope that helps!

I would use CTB on my lights and white balance to tungsten. This way you get a very cold sick look on the flesh tones. Keep your chroma levels down and lower your master pedestal. If you're using the stock lens only then you might want to lower your detail levels as well so as to get a softer picture. The rest should probably be done in post.

I figured I'd throw in a few screen grabs from a "Saw" spoof movie we did.
I can't remember my scene files but I used Magic Bullet in post. (and lots of green gels!)
