saving shutter speed/aperture settings

hi...
I've just acquired a couple of dvx100a (Pal).
Neither on the manual or on the web can I find info on this:
Can one save/store/recall aperture and shutter speed settings?
I though these settings would be stored in scene files (just like on Eng cams.), but changing scene files does not affect aperture/shutter speed settings. neither does changing the 3 user keys.
All I wanna do is save a couple of shutter speed/aperture combinations and recall them at a later stage.
Anyone knows?
thanx

thanx guys.
just experimenting different ways of shooting for experiments in compositing at a later stage, and that feature would have come in handy.
@Barry:
I can't be positive, but I seem to remember that a ENG cam I used some years ago would do just that. (store fstops and Sh.speed settings along with image look) (was it a Sony?)
thanx for claryfying anyway...

If I remember well, it was like a card you could remove from the camera that would record all your settings. It could be put back in different cameras to provide the stored values.
Different variables (filter position, white balance, gain, shutter speed, gamma slope, uper and lower end shapes ,matrix,) could then be stored and used on a different cam.
That was useful when shooting the same scene on 2 different days and wanted to get the same look. (picture continuity...)
BUT shooter is right, a pencil will do for the dvx100...:laugh:
thanx all.
