I am starting to save money for my new camera and i have come down to the DVX Or XL2. witch one should i save for.?

Re: Saving Money For Camera Need Help!

I was in the same situation awhile back. I waited for Canon to release the specs on the XL2, then I bought the DVX. Looking at the footage, I'm glad I did. It's a matter of personal opinion. What do you think looks best?

Re: Saving Money For Camera Need Help!

I thought you wanted the DVC30, Mike.

Look, you were warned about posting questions like this.  There's plenty of info on both of these cameras and how they compare in the XL2 section.  Go there and do some research.

Re: Saving Money For Camera Need Help!

i have done that dude. they both have 24p and the only thing that i don't like about the XL2 is the size. about the dvc30 i don't want that anymore because i think i can do better than that so i need to see a side by side photo between the dvx and xl2 :) :)

Well, check it out. This kid has been a general pain in everyone's behind for a while now. I PMed him on it several times, but with all his user IDs, who knows if he ever read it.

Re: Saving Money For Camera Need Help!

Hmmmm ... should I use Linux, XP, or Mac OS 10.3 ... :-/ Hmmm ... I think I'll stick with Solaris ...

Like others have already said ... It really boils down to a matter of personal preference ... Pick a camera, and learn how to use it. Have fun. Experiment. Do something cool with it ...

The camera is a tool nothing more ... How you utilize the tool is what's important.

Make a choice. Don't look back or second guess yourself.
