Here's the deal. I'm very seriously considering buying the DVX-100AE, not so much for my own use but to hire out.
Issue I see is can a client who's hired the camera save his scene setups to an external device and then restore them from that?
Second issue is can they all be reset to the factory default?
If you know anything about hiring equipment out I'm sure you'll see my reason for asking.
I know I should have RTFM before asking but I've found many times that manuals oftenly don't answer the really hard questions and someone who's had the pleasure of owning one of these beauties may have found a way to do this that isn't in the book.
