"On September 21st the University of Richmond announced that it was terminating Men's Soccer and Track at the end of this school year. The decision was grounded in the school's decision to add Men's Lacrosse as a varsity sport in 2013/14. We believe this to be a short-sighted decision which we will reverse while still adding Men's Lacrosse. This group is made up of players. families, other students and interested people who support the efforts to restore both Men's Soccer and Track."
I shot this project for MWAC on the AF100, gathering a ton of walking interviews and some game footage in a short timespan. Shooting conditions naturally were all over the place. Kit consisted of AF100 in my custom shoulder configuration and my sound guy James Daly with a SD 702 and boomed ME66. ~90% of it was lensed with a Leica D 14-50/2.8-3.5 and a small number of shots with the Voigtlander 17.5 and Leica Summicron-R 90. James also gathered a number of establishing shots on my GH2. All editing by MWAC.
