Saturday Night Special

I would love to come see a screening of the short, but NM is a little out of driving range... you should do a Los Angeles showing sometime. :)

Hey

Congrats on your various film festival entries. Just a small technical observation I wanna make. The 250D Fuji seems slightly grainy based on some of the shots in your short. Is it because you were losing light and the grain comes up due to matching the footage during telecine?

I've never shot 250D Fuji but I'm comparing it based on 250D Kodak that I've used and it's not as grainy. Do enlighten!

-edit- Ignore my "technical observations" for this film since it was meant for another film thread which I mistook it for. Sorry!

Holy crap!

I think I replied to the wrong thread lol. I was reading robinbuday's thread and while watching the film I mistook your thread for his. Oh my I'm really sorry about that.

But my congrats to you are for real though.

We're sponsoring The American Film Market!

Prodigi Products will be debuting its new motion picture lighting system at the AFM from October 31st through November 7th. Saturday Night Special used the prototype version of The Lumen and we'll be looping the short film in our booth throughout the 8 day event. If you live in Los Angeles this is an opportunity to see Saturday Night Special in our booth. You'll also get to test The Lumen!

Here is information about the AFM:

I'll make sure to check it out.

Tommy -

Will you be attending the AFM this year? If so, lets arrange a time to meet.

I just took a look at their website. $290 for a day pass? Yikes. I'd go to meet a few people and watch a few films. Since I'm an actor, I wouldn't get anything for my $290. I don't see any option to screen films though... just the option where you either work for an entertainment company or are a resident of Santa Monica - which I'm neither...

If there's a less expensive option, I'm afraid I would have to pass on the festival.
