So I just bought a used Sachtler 18p tripod system and I had this piece sitting around for months and never had any use for it. I'm not sure what to call it, maybe its a tripod mounting plate? Anyways, I'm selling it for best offer and does anyone know what to call this piece?
Thanks!

Looks like a standard Sony quick release plate to me. Don't know the difference between the Panny & Sony.
.Maybe the same as a VCT-14 Quick-Release Tripod Adapter on B&H maybe $2-$300.
Very common piece of gear but definitly resellable.

Yeap, it could also be a VCT-14 or VCT-U14. I'd take your eBay auction down until you confirm what it is.

Thanks F/VESCO, After digging and researching I would have to say that it's the Shan-TM700 because the Sony VCT-14 has had inconsistancy with the references to it's images as opposed to the Shan-TM700 in which all the sources has been consistant to with what I have. Wether it be Sony or Panasonic, the guy who I bought the sticks from used it with the HDX900 as well as the SonyF900. It's definitely universal, functions properly, and it's solid. Thanks again
