Sanyo 1080 home cinema projector:

Currently sells for about $1500 new.
(same as this one: http://www.amazon.com/Sanyo-PLV-108...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1273786191&sr=8-1)

I wanted to start building a little home cinema so I bought this last year, unfourtunatly I havent made any progress on it and all I have used it for was viewing some 5d mark 2 stuff on my wall. In dark conditions I was throwing a ~12' diagonal image with good contrast and very accurate color. The projector has a very cool optical shift AND optical ZOOM function so you can set it up in a room in minutes. Best image for the price IMO which is why I bought it, but its stupid of me to keep it just sitting here not being used. I have only used it for maybe a few hours. 2x hdmi inputs, extensive adjustment menus...

You can read about it on that amazon page link above.

PM me or send me an e-mail, hunter@hunterhrichards.com

Asking $1000 obo.

Few Questions

I am in Canada.

1)If there is warranty, does it matter to me? How long is warranty if any

2)How much is replacement bulb

3)What else does it have in terms of input.

4)If I was working with 10-12 feet, what size image will I get projected?

5)Do you have any photos of how your projection looked :)?

You can find a lot of those spec answers here and also read reviews:

Unfourtunatly, I dont think I registered for the warranty. Bulb replacement cost looks like $200-300, but this one has barely been used and shows almost full life in the menu. I will have to check for screen size at that distance but because the lens is an optical zoom, you can make the image quite large wide at a short throw distance. No pictures of it in use, ill try to get some tonight. My main issue with it is its meant to be a home cinema projector used in near total darkness for the best image- all of the places I have available have lots of ambient light so I can only really use it at night. With that said though, all of the people who have seen footage on it at night were "wowed", and I dont even have a real screen, just a bare wall. P.s. I deal with Canadians... ; )
