Cinemar Filmmaker's Meeting in Santa Cruz
Our Schmoozfest format, held the 3rd Friday of every month at Digital Media Factory, 2809 Mission, in westside Santa Cruz, opens at ~ 7:30 with 30-ish minutes of schmoozing as we gather and the formal presentation usually begins as close to 8 pm as we can make it. We have announcements, a 10 minute "pitch session" where 3 or 4 members gather cast, crew and/or funding for their current projects followed by 10-15 minutes for works in progress/recently completed projects. The featured presentation is usually an introduction, a 10-15 minute screening of a longer project, selections from projects, or an organized presentation on a particular topic, followed by a Q&A session with the presenter.
I'll be there.
