I am hacking my GH1 (first generation) and had everything set up through PTool. When I went to move the new software to the SDHC card (brand-new SanDisk Ultra 8GB class 10), I get the "Disk is write-protected" alert. I had formatted the disk in my camera, and sure enough, when you look at the folders that remain from the fresh formatting, they indicate "write protected".
Just for kicks, I put my junk SDHC 8GB class 10 card, also formatted and used in my GH1, and that shows the folders as "write protected" too.
The security tabs on the SD cards work fine, and I tested the cards on two PCs with the same results, so it looks like the method of how the cards are formatted in the GH1 is the culprit.
Anyone know of a workaround?
Thanks!
