Sandisk UHS-I cards in GH1?

I'm interested in this as well. I just bought a boat-load of Panasonic class 10 at discount, but found several vendors selling these newer class cards for not much more, and significantly less than the regular extreme iii...what gives - no reveiws to be found less than 80$ for a 16gb 45mb/s card?????

I picked up a UHS- "Extreme Pro 45mbps" card (8 gig) and I'm not impressed really. It looks to sustain the same 45mbps peak range that my cheapo class 10's do (Wintech, Centon) I appear to work well in the 75mbps Small GOP patch as long as I dont zoom. I can swing the cam all around with no problem, as long as it's Manual focus and I don't hit the zoom while shooting. The instant I hit the zom it dies. However this card at least recovers and allows me to try again without resetting the camera. My Centon randomly makes me yank the battery to reset.

Using the disk speed test from the app store on my i7 MBP I get a write speed of about 14.5mb, my Centon 32gb class 10 does 11.5 and the wintech does 10. I can't shoot in the same conditions with the Centon or Wintech but I'm going to barrow a Extreme III from a friend and try it loaded with the same patch hopefully this week. If it works I'll continue looking for a Extreme III and ditch this 8gb card. The only Extremem III's I found were at B&H and they were closed this week. Hope this helps

Currently D7000 is the only camera taking advantage of UHS-I. You'd need an ext card reader to get faster read. I heard it's slower than extreme III by only a few percentage on non UHS-I compliant devices.
