Hi all
I want to buy some sandisk extreme iii 30mbps class 10 cards.

I can find sandisk extreme 30mbps class 10 everywhere but they don't say 'iii' on them.

Are these the right things?

I bought a Transcend SDXC (very new on the market) card with 64GB class 10 and it works til now absolutely flawless.
Cost in Germany about 100 Euro (130 Dollar).

I think I've decided on the sandisks as they seem to be tried and tested. Filming weddings I can't afford any failures.

I'm also in the UK so need to buy one from here. About £63 for 16gb is about the best I can find without resorting to untrusted sites.

So as long as it is an extreme labelled class 10 30mbps then that is what people refer to as extreme iii?

I ordered a few 8 GB class 10 Sandisk cards through Best Buy yesterday (on sale for $39 each). The item ad is labeled Extreme III however the product picture just shows the card labeled as extreme with a class 10 symbol and 30 MB/s on it. I can confirm tomorrow when they get here if you haven't already ordered. Best of luck.

hmmm whilst testing an 8GB panasonic class 10 gold I got 2hrs 40 mins on it in FHD mode... is that because I was filming a static object?

Is it ok to test cards this way (I.e - filming a static object until the card is full up) or should I also film a high detail shot in order to test the bitrate (I can't really do that until the card is full though as with 10 cards to test it would take forever...)
