Hi folks,
It seems that a grain of sand got into my focus ring. I get a scraping noise when I turn the ring, and the action is not as smooth as it used to be.
Do I need to have my camera serviced because that grain of salt could start wandering around my lens or is the focus ring isolated from the interior of the lens?
If anyone has had the same type of problem and had it repaired, it would be nice to know how much it costs, since I doubt this kind of service is covered by my warranty.
