I am in need of someone to shoot a triathlon race, focusing on two athletes THIS SATURDAY (March 31st) in Oceanside, California. This footage may be used in a documentary being planned for release in mid-2008.
You would need to start by filming the athletes as they check their bikes in the transition area sometime around 5am. The race starts at 6:45am. You can expect these athletes to take approximately 4 hours and some change to finish.
Ideally, you would shoot this on an HVX in 720p24, but we would be open to having it shot on a Canon A1/G1 in HDV, or DVCPro50 24pA.
Time is of the essence. Film credit will be given. On-site time would likely be less than 6 hours, and we can offer compensation of $500.
Please contact oceansideshooter@x.getalive.com with a reel or samples of your work, or call Peter at 206-850-6648
