I was wanting to see the extra shallow DOF that you get with full frame and some bOkeh hilites.

I hear there are plans for a 35/1.2?

Videos were shot with the 7d (1.6 crop factor)

Next Samyang lens out early next year will be the 14mm f2.8

Bought this lens after seeing sample clips and photos from this site and others and have been VERY pleased with the performance/cost ratio! I went with the Opteka version as it was cheapest at the time.

My only issue - this is a Nikon mount version - there is some play in the mount when used on both my SGpro rev3 Nikon mount and my Nikon to Micro 4/3 adapter for the GH1. It's not in any danger of coming loose and falling off, but when you grab the focus ring, you can sometimes rotate the barrel of the lens with it, inside the mount.

I should stress that on my Nikon D90, it fits perfectly well, with no play whatsoever, and actually feels quite solid. So it's something to do with how these custom mounts are manufactured, I suspect rather than the lens itself, though other of my Nikon lenses work great on either. It might not even be an issue on the Canon mount version.

By the way, if anyone else has had the same problem and fixed it, I'm all ears!
