Hiya.
Testing out some S-LOG footage this evening, brought the clips into the edit, and was suprised to see a couple of takes still had the green screen issue, despite the latest Samurai firmware update saying it's been sorted. Please see pics below. I think the Samurai seems to struggle if you just in and out of record to quickly (which of course you don't set out to do) i.e the clip is too short. Sometimes the length of video on a track is a little longer than its audio counterpart as well. I am also getting the odd black frame here and there as well!

Recording to a Western Digital Scorpio Black 500GB Drive. Maybe it's my cables wth a lose connection somewhere, I don't know, but it is frustrating.

I was having problems with that same drive with the older firmware, less with the newer Hitachi 750 GB drive, and none at all with the Samsung 470 SSD. I think that hard disks are not always fast enough.

This sounds bit impossible, but who knows.
These new disks have big buffers and ProRes is at most 30MB/sec- so there should be no problem.
Atomos should put some RAM into recorders and encode to RAM and than copy data to drive.

Yes there were apparently issues with the initial run of cables causing an unstable SDI signal. Your reseller should be able to send you free replacements.
