I've used a Ninja 2 + S2H combination in the past without issue, but am having some operational difficulties with my new Samurai Blade which cause it to lose input signal and require a device reboot to correct. These issues seem independent of HDSDI cable used. I am recording in AF100's 1080p24 mode with psF-over-SDI set to OFF to enable simultaneous HDMI signal.
Issues:
- errors to "No Input" if camera or recorder are moved around too quickly (as when carrying from one place to another, repositioning on the shoulder, or repositioning the device on the camera)
- errors to "No Input" when changing lenses, even when changing lenses on an adapter (and not moving the adapter), even if great care is taken not to jar the camera
- errors to "No Input" when a black balance is performed on the camera
- errors to "No Input" when scene file is changed
Any advice would be helpful, as the unit is potentially perfect aside from its apparent connection fragility and neediness... shooting documentaries, I cannot afford to be constantly rebooting this device to make it work.
Has anyone encountered similar problems or found a solution to same? Thanks
