Samsung NX10 will be released on December 10... k-rumors says

No 24p baffles me. Canon is shameless about recognizing the importance of 24p, it's silly not to follow suit. It'll be interesting regardless to see what Samsungs image looks like. The LCD is killer and a mirroless design is very much welcomed.

I'm honestly ready to shed my 7D bodies. Little bits and bobs are starting to get to me.
 
haha,no 24p - worth zero here on film making forum, sorry samsung, you failed.At least one guy who works for samsung could come here to this very forum and spend one day reading and they could manufacture perfect camera for us.This is real shame,where those guys live , on mars ?30p disease give me a break.At least should be 30/25 pal ntsc.
A little bit of research by samsung and this cam could be MUCH more succesfull,those guys dont realize how important is 24p/25p or they are plain stupid and ignorant,in today economic situation they could spend a little more time doing some research what would fail badly and what would work,is this a huge problem to press "2" and "4" by some engineers... no words.

Thing is in Japan they hardly get the fascination with 24p at all. To their minds 30p is better because you get more motion samples per frame and in theory this means a better picture. The inclusion of 24p for many camera designers is totally counter-intuitive. Luckily, a lot of them have come around to why we as filmmakers wanted it.

Well, at least I still have Shake for the 30 to 24p conversion. Philip bloom's Hitler learned Shake not in vain.

I don't mind 30p so much for web media.
 
Yeah but i guess samsung have some kind of people for market research and checking whats HOT and whats NOT , they know that canon released 7D ,they know how different it was from previous models and they now that they will release update to 5D mark II with 24P so you dont have to be that smart to figure out what to do next when making new camera and expect it to sell well...
If canon is releasing update to 24 then it means that people want it very very much.
