Best Forumdudes,

first - sorry for my bad english.

Ive followed all your Tips. The Camera Settings are: Picture Style: Neutral, Custom White Balance: 5500k.

But the Footage is still unusable. But not only at blue, at Magenta too.

Hasn't this been covered many times in this forum?

Use PP OFF and select DEEP, LIGHT or AUTUMN LEAVES creative styles (if I had to choose I use LIGHT -3,-1,-3)

I thought higher whitebalance fixed it too but I mostly tested that with PP ON, I'll have to look further into that. It's looking like the issue is worst in CS mode especially in NEUTRAL and VIVID and even 5000K whitebalance won't remove it.

In your whitebalance did you have any additional A-B or G-M adjustment? Any adjustment toward Blue or Magenta seems to bring the problem back. Maybe it's not totally gone at 5000K for incredibly saturated blue lights, it seems to keep getting better as you increase the whitebalance higher.

Seems to me it's best to stick to LIGHT as that seems to minimize the problem the best. Of course every CS and PP still have a bit of the primary color highlight problem that nearly every Sony camera has, which is another problem where blue turns cyan before blowing out, so bright blues may always have problems, but the issue where bright blues become deep dark saturated blues before they turn cyan is something you can minimize by using LIGHT and avoiding low whitebalance numbers.

There must be something off with your settings because 5h3 WB 5000K thing solved this for me, for good. This is what I use.
