I've been playing with some of my 720 24pN footage in Avid Xpress Pro HD. After a little CC, I tied to export it. I first did same as source (which would mean the Avid DV100 codec since that's how Avid handles DVXProHD) and then tried uncompressed. To my suprirse, the same as source looked lousy even though they should theoretically be the same. Both the colors and the luma values were muted and there was a general lack of contrast in the image. Do you think this is a problem with the quicktime player or the Avid DV100 codec?
