I grew up in Texas, snakes don't bother me. I don't like 'em, but they don't bother me. I kill spiders, ants, bugs, I do hate things that jump on you without warning.

Texas mosquitos and horse flies, now that's something to freak over.

I'm afraid of some pretty stupid stuff. Stuff too embarrassing to post online. But snakes don't bother me the slightest.

Bee stings have that nasty electric-shock quality, to the pain.

I'm fortunate in that I don't have much reaction to the venom. Like a bad, bad mosquito bite, not much more. Individual bees don't bother me but if I found them swarming I'd relocate but fast.
