So I'm in London drugs the other day looking at crap I can't afford in the camera department. I'm thinking while I'm there I can pick up some dv tape. I grabbed a couple of Fugi's because I've used them from day one with no prob's. Just in passing I asked the older, knowledgable looking camera clek/salesman if the tapes are wet or dry lube. His answer confused me. He said that all tape was the same and that it was the indiv idual cameras that have wet or dry lube! I am now confused as I was under the impression that it was the tape. So anybody know? Is the lube specific to the camera or the tape?

It's amazing how full of it sales guys are....

I don't think I've ever met a single one who was right. No wonder there's so much consumer confusion.

WRONG STORE!

Doeas everybody remember the heated discussion about anti-piracy levy? The one that London Drugs says it must charge customers? Full of bull.

And don't make me repeat my statements about the levy itself and it's implementers.... don't want my reputation stars disappear

Don't sware at (all) sales guys. Some of them are not that bad...

Yes, quite right. People like Rush, for instance, are very helpful :D

I'm talking your average "walmart" or "target" store employee though.

He needs to get DVXpimped slap! The sales person don't need to know anything, just as long as they give me a fat discount. I'm a happy customer!

Sales people are like every other professional ther are good ones and then there are London Drug ones. The store has an attitude as it is....I bet if you dig deep enough you'll find they are owned by some satnic cult or something. Needless to say I've had nothing but bad dealings with these people. Except the store in Victoria BC, They were cool.

You guys should try here, down under... You know what they say, "better here down under than up there on top of civilization..."

Hey, my niece takes her film to be developed there. She is usually happy, until I get to see the pics and critique them...

Don't know if that's the store's fault, her fault, or me being too critical. :engel017:

But I must say, sales people on the island are generally much nicer and cooler than here in Toronto (except the wonderful staff at Vistek - I love you guys!), so I guess it must be me...
