Safari hates me

Lately, Safari hasn't been loading any pages. It's been like this since I went to NC for a few weeks. I've googled this topic, but nothing they say is working. I didn't know if anyone else had run across this problem.

Firefox works. Safari does not.
 
If this helps, widgets won't load either...

edit: figured it out ... somehow my proxies were checked in network settings. Odd that Firefox still worked.
