For sale is a Sachtler Video 20 III fluid head and Vinten 2 stage aluminum legs with floor spreader. Both have seen their fair share of use but they are ready for a new home. This was used with bigger ENG cameras (Beta Cams) but is a bit much for my HVX200 and GH2. This is a great setup for jibs.
The Sachtler Video 20 III head has 7 drag settings each for pan and tilt. It has 3 counter balance settings, a sliding plate, a 100mm ball and can handle up to 44 pounds.
One adjustable arm is included but a piece of the adjustment knob that extends the arms length broke off some time ago and requires pliers of some sort to turn. The knob that adjusts the rotation of the arm to the actual head looks and works fine.
Also included are two quick release plates with 2 screws each (3/4" & 1/4"). The original plate has the 3/4" screw stuck in it due to a threading issue. It still works with that screw in, it is just not removable to use the smaller screw (at least not by me, feel free to give it your best). The second quick release plate is brand new and has both screws. You can mount the first one to a crane or slider and use the second one for your camera and not worry about switching plates.
The Vinten legs have 2 stages and height ranging from 25" to 62" when attached to the spreader with the dials all the way in. Without the spreader you can get this a little higher (but you lose stability) or go all the way down to the ground. They have the standard spiked feet.
These definitely have a used look to them but they are built solid and everything (minus the arm adjustment knob) works perfectly.
Asking $3,750 + Shipping +PayPal fees. CONUS ONLY Please.
PRICE UPDATE - $2750 Shipped (Cont US)
Local pick up in Baltimore, Maryland is welcome. Pictures coming shortly.
