[FS: General] Sachtler Video 18II fluid head with ENG 2 CF three stage carbon fiber sticks

[cyclejones]

For sale is my Sachtler video 18II fluid head with three stage ENG 2CF quick release carbon fiber sticks and ground-level spreader. it's a slightly older model and shows its battle wear proudly, but don't let surface scratches fool you, last month the head and sticks were completely rebuilt by Mario at Otto Nemenz at significant expense to make these work as well if not better than when they were new. I'll also throw in the tube travel case.

this setup costs almost $7000 new but because it's a little bit older of a model and it does have some surface wear i'm willing to part with it for $3000. don't miss the chance to get a tried and true, fantastic fluid head setup for a great price.

Hello,

I'm in the market for a tripod. I shoot with a 7D now and Canon lenses, so the payload on your sticks would be a bit overkill for me but I'd like to buy a good head and sticks once and have it last me until I have my own set of PLs, ideally. I was thinking to buy new - how does the performance of your head compare to its performance when it was new?

And where are you located? I'm in NYC. If you want to discuss this over e-mail, my address is abe.halpert@gmail.com.

Best,
Abe

Hey Man,

Gorgeous sticks.

Roundabout how much do these weigh together?

Cheers,
Josh

thanks for your interest, I'd say that the sticks and head probably weight right around 20-21 lbs together.
