sachtler video 10 tripod

weight: about 8-10 lbs
it goes about 60" high
when folded its about 28"
true fluid head.. its a sachtler!

Am I correct in thinking that the head can only function on the tripod pictured, it cannot be unscrewed and used with a normal 100mm or even 75mm bowl tripod? Does it have a traditional Sachtler tie-down or is somehow affixed only to that center shaft? Is this one of those news shooter setups where it opens up very quickly for ENG?

Great head, but it would be limited to me if I couldn't use it on my Miller legs.

Thanks,

Dan

I'm sorry guys that you let this baby pass by... These are sweet sticks
Thanks Johnny smooth transaction (long subway ride)

haha yes item is sold.. thanks.. i dont even know why it took this long for me to sell it.. it is worth it i believe.. enjoy it..

I am still curious if this head can be used with other standard tripod legs or only with the legs it is attached to. Web searches reveal very little about this tripod head or the legs.

Glad you sold it. I was interested but with no reply on my questions, didn't bid for it.

That was helpful Yoji san. So it looks as if this model was the Video 10 with the integrated center column? That answered my question, not what I was looking for. They made a version called the Video 10/75 that was able to be mounted on other tripod legs.

Hope it works out well for you.

Dan

Glad to help
It is a dream tripod, I shoot with 16mm camera and still camera (35mm & 4x5) so this tripod is light enough but strong enough for all my cameras...
Glad you didn't take it before me ;)
Cheers
