Sachtler video 10 hot pod tripod and fluid head.
on/off fluid drag.
This is a nice compact unit in reasonable overall condition. Fully operational, quick release plate included. Solid aluminium mid-level spreader. Smooth leg extension. Nothing is bent or stiff here. Did I say compact and light?
$620 Shipped. CONUS. From Detroit, MI.
Why hot pod? Well it basically gives you another stage without adding as much to the overall weight of the tripod. It also lets you hit a specific height VERY QUICKLY - you adjust one thing rather than three different legs.
So it's extremely useful.
What's wrong?
As per the last two pictures below...
1. The screw tightener for the tilt motion has lost it's 'nob' - i've been using a coin to lock it down
2. Half of the screw tightener for the pan bar is missing. Still solid as a rock and no risk of the other half going.
