Sachtler Problem!

Well I just got my Sachtler fsb 6 and I love it. There is one major problem though,
the horizontal dampen control works but the vertical is stuck a 3.
I got the tripod in the mail like this but I think it might be something simple.
Below is a picture to demonstrate what I'm talking about.

I dunno dude, my FSB6 works like a charm...and there's no sticking or jamming with the vertical dampener...

I don't know what you think about yours (aside from that problem) but imho this unit is *awesome*.

O MY GAWD the head is amazing, before it I had a 503 and this blows it out of the water.

Before sending it back, try unlocking the tilt knob and , if possible on this head, releasing the spring - then try moving tilt selector ring forcibly up or down. This works all the time on my larger, broadcast sachtler heads which often stick at #4 . It still works great all these years, just takes a little more exertion to get it out of 4.
Of course, I'm not familiar with the FSB6 but it should be similiar in design. If that doesn't work And it's under warranty, just send it back.
