For sale is my Sachtler DV-6 tripod system (legs, head and ground spreader). I bought it used 2 years ago and it's been a joy to use, but it's time to upgrade to a 100mm system. The model is discontinued, but you can buy any replacement parts either from B&H or www.thebroadcastshop.com.
The ground spreader has a broken hook on one of the sides of plastic star joint, but I've kept it attached (and working) by velcro with no trouble at all. You can buy a new one for $14.50 HERE (http://www.thebroadcastshop.com/sales/detail.asp?partno=7001-01)
There is also some chipped paint on the head from it's age, but operates 100% flawlessly.
Any questions, please ask! Thanks.
The DV-6 will support up to 19 lbs. And i have used it with both a 5DMKII & MKIII cinema package and an HVX, and it handled both cameras just fine. All of the tension adjustments means you can really dial it in. There are essentially 25 different settings for the tilt tension (two dials from 1 - 5), and 5 for the pan tension (One dial from 1 - 5).
I'm asking $1,400 and I will cover Paypal fees and shipping charges
