Sachtler Ace vs Miller Solo DV10 for AF100

Now there is a bit of me that thinks this may be like comparing chalk and cheese but I will ask anyways. I am in need of a light weight durable tripod with a good fluid head. The two I have come across are the Sachtler Ace and the Miller Solo DV10.

I have worked with the Miller using a Sony Z5 and love it and at present seems I can pick one up for about $1500 and then I have seen people talking about the Sachtler Ace and say that it is a pretty good tripod with a great fluid head and it seems you can pick one up for about $600.

So my question is which is best or at least better and will the Sachtler support the AF100, I would presume so? I am happy to spend money on a good tripod however if I can get a good quality tripod for more than half the price of the other one... well need I say more.

So any thoughts?

Cheers.

Miller all the way. Nothing I have ever used has compared. That said Id say you should look at the miller DS20 with solo legs for the AF100 as once you ad a few bits n bobs you will surpass the abilities of the DS10 very quickly FWIW.

You're going to hit your weight limit VERY quickly with the Ace once you add a decent lens to the AF100. You may not even be able to add a single other accessory.

And you never want to be right up against the rated capacity limit of any tripod/head.

I really think it's meant for lighter DSLR rigs.
