I can't find anything in the manual on this. I've been getting this error message more and more frequently when I load a fresh tape and go into record. Camera locks up, and sometimes I can't shoot at all.
Sometimes I'm able to fast-forward a bit and go into record. Other times I can't.
I've also been hearing a disturbing sound when I load a tape -- as if it's being eaten.
Any advice would be most appreciated. I'm supposed to shoot tonight, and I'm very nervous.
